Unhappy nritchie

Very Dejected,
Currently use an Olympus E5 with 3 main lense
Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 12-60mm f2.8-4.0 SWD (main walkabout)
Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f2.8-3.5 SWD
Olympus Zuiko DigitalED 50mm f2.8 macro:confused
Extremely passionate obout my Olympus equipment but can never seem to find many users, are the main two or three manufacturers so much better, or is it just due to promotion and perhaps keeping up to the Jones's (other club members)

For the most part it isn't the tool. Normally it is the user. That being said, trying to drive a nail with a bent hammer is definitely harder...

I googled "Olympus dslr user group" and got zero results??? You may be the only one! Seriously, I got 2.4 million hits with about 8 good looking ones right at the top.

If your passion is photographic equipment, Olympus certainly has a much smaller piece of the pie than Nikon or Canon. If your passion is photography, it doesn't really matter; it is nigh on impossible to tell what camera was used just by looking at a photograph.

In fact I used crappy Olympus stuff for years, and it looked goofy, but the lens was fantastic... I know a few professional photographers that have kept a handy-camera from Olympus in the bag for a backup because the lens is so good for the price.

+3. We had been using an $8.00 coffee machine for the last 3 years up until last week. It finally gave up. Have had some great coffee run through it.
