Default Cannon Rebel Vs Nikon D3000 - Please help me decide

I've narrowed it down... I was hoping to get a little input from those that shoot regularly. I'm not concerned about not having a video option, but I would prefer user friendliness with the most options. If anyone uses one or both of these cameras, would you please share your thoughts and experiences with me? It would mean more than just reading the product reviews.

Thanks so much in advance

If you've got it narrowed down that far, the decision is easy, but beyond the help of this community: go pick them up and try them. If you're like most people, one or the other will feel much better, and more intuitive in its layout of controls.

For me, both felt small and cramped, but in the next "level" up (60D, D7000, equiv.), the Nikon's layout just suited me much, much better. But that's just me, and I could see how someone else might be exactly the opposite.

Says it all, you pretty much know what you want so go and handle them both and see which one floats your boat.
