These two cameras share most of their defining features.
It's true that the Fuji is slightly lighter and has a bit more zoom power, but since both companies are known for their quality of cameras, it's down to your preference of handling, style and ergonomics - my sincere suggestion is that you hold both of them in your hands and choose the one you like best - that's the camera for you.

I'd go for the Fuji. It's got the PSAM modes; the Nikon doesn't. I'm a control freak. I've never bought a P&S digital camera without full Manual mode. If you want to know why you'd want the PSAM modes, just read Bryan Peterson's Understanding Exposure and Learning to See Creatively. They'll pretty much tell you why.
