Question Rugged Point & Shoot

I have been wanting a durable, sand proof, dust proof, cold proof, hot proof, and of course water proof, point and shoot digital camera for a long time now.

When I find one I like, I read the reviews and while there are mostly pros, the one con can/will turn me off of that camera. Therefore, I am running out of options!

I am looking a lot at the Pentax W90. But I've been reading reviews...and the cons are, of course, sticking out at me.

Anyone have any high recommendations for 'rugged point & shoots'?
Sample shots (specifically underwater ones) would be greatly appreciated as well!

Thanks to everyone in advanced!

P.S. I apologize if this 'topic' has come up before, and I missed out on it. If you already made a comment on someone else's thread, and you really just want to overlook this one...please help me out and atleast post a link to your comment.

~Afterthought: Would it be better to buy a regular point and shoot, then invest in an underwater casing?

Panasonic TS-2 is probably your best bet. You cant compare it to a dSLR in IQ (you cant do that with any compact), but in terms of use and IQ over it's competitors, it's hard to beat.

Thanks for the response.
Have you used it underwater, and if so, did you have any leaking problems?
