Default Camera Question, PLEASE HELP!!!

I am an avid hunter, I would like to set up a waterproof / weatherproof camera triggered by a motion sensor to detect big game. This camera would be placed high in a tree along with a motion sensor if possible. This will be taking place in during winter so the camera will have to be able to hold up in subzero temperatures. Ideally all of these components would be in a box together (motion sensor, camera, wireless modem.. whatever else is necessary) and once the picture is taken it would be sent to my computer so I can view the pictures from home.

1) Are there digital still photography cameras that can last / perform in subzero temperatures for weeks at a time of stored properly?
2) If so, would this (these) camera's need a housing unit? If not, is there a way to create a system that would allow us to set up a camera in a housing unit to survive these temperatures?
3) Are there companies that specialize in these types of services and developments?
4) Is there a way to set up a connection with the camera so that once the picture is taken it can be sent to my computer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated whether it is a telephone number or email address to someone that has more knowledge that we could contact.
