The Canon users will say Canon, the Nikon users will say Nikon, Olympus users will say Olympus, Pentax users will say Pentax....etc......

Short answer? They're all good.

I love my Olympus, but wouldn't recommend going with them. It appears that they may very soon be discontinuing their DSLR line. This is a reality that is making me very, very sad!

This is a loaded question. No one is going to be able to answer this accurately as it is so subjective. It's a matter of personal preference.

Actually, I'm a Canon shooter, and I'd say Leica. Staying in business based soley on reputation (and a crazy collectors' market) when you've got cameras priced out of the high-volume market is hard. Leica is a labor of love more than one of business, imho. And then there's Zeiss, although they suck at making cameras--but producing lenses like those cinema primes and the Z* lenses? Business genius. My only complaint is where's my digital Ikon, already?! (When Ansel Adams shot with a 35mm camera, it was an Ikon, not a Leica M--exactly what one would expect of a member of f/64).
