Is there any SAFE and good way to clean a sensor at-home? Have a shoot and don't have any time to go get my sensor cleaned today. :[

Not if you don't have the proper cleaning solution and/or tools. If you want to do a wet cleaning you need the proper solution or you will damage your sensor. If you want to do a dry cleaning you need the proper brush or you may scratch your sensor.

So, in a word, no.

Default sensor spots

Hey Dave,
I agree with you it is WAY scary to clean our own sensors. However, I am so frustrated because I sent my Mark III off to Canon and it came back with a few spots, one that I continue to blow around now and it wants to stick to new places. It must have some static charge. I should send it back to Canon, but I was wondering is there a dry brush you ever use? I've read about a butterfly or something that has an electric charge to attract dust fragments. Anyway, I agree we should never do it, but sometimes a light brush might just do the trick. What do you think? Is there a brush you would recommend?
Thanks, Mona

I think you'll be very happy you did. Can't make any promises though.
