I live in Phoenix AZ so keeping the camera dry here is not a major problem. I've got a couple of large desiccant packs in the camera bag already.
So here's the question; I'll be vacationing alonge the Pacific northwest coast (Washington & Oregon) the last two weeks in June. What extra precautions for the camera equipment are there for this wet climate? Not just travel and storage but operational use as well. Thanks. |

Really, it's not a big deal. I carry my camera with me on misty/foggy/rainy days all the time. Your camera is much more hardy than you think it is.
Maybe a few basics: - Bring a cloth to clean the lens if you need it - Don't change the lens where water can get in Otherwise, just have fun! Most cameras are sealed so well that it just won't matter.
