If you are shooting a wedding and don't know what kind of camera to even start with, I would highly recommend popping a xanax, and have a glass of wine, and really think about this long and hard. That is the best advice I can give.
Welcome to DPS, by the way.

Shooting weddings can be very difficult and highly stressful. Are you doing this as the official photographer or as a guest just wanting some nice shots for yourself? Hopefully this is just for you. If so,
a lot depends on what you can afford. Do you have a budget?

I mate has this baby for his landscapes. You actually cannot believe the quality. On city shots from his girocopter you can zoom in and see what colour clothes people are wearing from 5 miles out

Well, seeing as how nobody gave you the answer you may want to hear, I'll chime in on this one.

NIKON BABY!!!!

Nobody can really answer this for you. Go to a store & check them both out. Here at DPS, you're just going to get opinions that don't really amount to a hill-of-beans.

So....my question do you know anything about photography or the business side of photography? Or are you one of those who already have a full time job and looking at weddings to supplement your income. Do you have a website? Do you happen to know what your Costs of Doing Business might be? Have you ever shot a wedding before? I know all these idiotic questions, but think about it. If you don't know what you're doing no camera brand will help you.

My dad has a Hasselblad, film. He said for the amount it would cost to put a digital back on it, he could just buy a nice new Nikon lol
