Default Help! My D60 was dropped!

my son pulled my D60 off the kitchen counter yesterday! i have noticed an issue i wanted to run past all of you. I assume it is b/c the camera was dropped, but i suppose it could have been an issue before, but i didnt notice.

when in Auto, the camera seems to be having issues focusing on the subject. the 3 "windows" i see through the viewfinder (forgive me, i cant think of their proper name at the moment), the ones that show where the camera is focusing...well, when shooting one of the kids, the outside "window" will beep focused, but not the center one that is on the childs face?! i am getting blurry face pics b/c of this...it didnt happen before.

did i mess up some settings somewhere, or doyou think this issue is b/c of the drop?

thank you!

It could just be as simple as the single focus point being the right one and not the middle. If you've got your focus mode to a single point, try pressing the LEFT on the DPAD on the back. It should move the selected focus point to the left.
