I love it LOL

I have 5 MP, 10 MP and 18 MP cameras and although I take my 10 MP camera with me almost everywhere I go, I do take the 18 MP when I am in a photographic mood.

I resently took just the 18 MP with only the 18-200mm lens to an airshow and was really impressed with the results which gave me a lot of extra room for cropping (although I cropped hardly any of them) and when my brother and I compared my shots with his 10 MP shots, we threw most of his out and kept the ones that I took with the larger MP.

At the end of the day you have to get what you can afford that will best suit what you are trying to achieve

I have found that bigger megapix is easier when i want to crop things. So i would want a big megapix cam. but for random shooting i use about 3.7MP, thats enough. The moonshot is for example, with smaller resolution i wouldnt have been able to get the shot.
