No, and I don't think I'd consider f/32 an upgrade...

That's kinda misleading
The aperture you use is depdendent on the lens on the camera, not the body itself. Most lenses go to f/22, though some go very very far down (to f/44-64, in some cases). It's not worth going any further than f/16 though (2 stops after f/8) because you start getting diffraction, which just makes images soft. f/8 is usually around the "best" aperture.

How's that misleading?
His camera doesn't have the ability to interchange lenses... And f/32 isn't of any real benefit.

+1, besides, at f/8 on a P&S, you're getting the same DoF as you would on a full frame at f/18 or f/20.

Well, there may be a "best" (or at least "as good as you're getting") aperture for a specific situation. If you understand how aperture affects exposure, DOF, diffraction, etc., then you can choose the best for your situation. But there's no universal rule that "every time thee shooteth a landscape, thou must stoppeth down to f/22."

I missed the camera line, but i was referring to lenses in general. On a P&S they usually dont go past f/8 because that equates to f/22 or smaller on a dSLR. That's diffraction city.

Thank you for all responses. Firstly, I would like to clear something up. My camera DOES accept other lenses, in fact I have 5 lenses that I can use and change out.
I didn't realize that f32 was bad? I thought it would give me a better depth of field to keep all of my up close 5-10inch shots in full focus. I know that if I used f2.8....the front and rear bumpers of a 1/25 scale model would not be clear in the same photo. f8 allows both bumpers to be crisp and clear...but other points such as the roof or rear corner...might be fuzzed... My question was simple. Can I find a lens that will give me f32 results?
