Default What camera should I buy?

I'm a University student who travels somewhat frequently so I'm looking for an affordable camera that takes good quality travel pictures, is easy to maintain, user-friendly and takes pictures quickly (my current camera is slow). Apologies for the lack of technical language, I have no real photography experience. Thanks for your help!

All depends of funds and Yours skill - present and future.
It could be that the "feel it" and you wanted more from the camera.
You can buy a hybrid, a "monkey camera" or something, and not expensive future-with interchangeable optics.
In my case from the beginning was the Samsung. Some others do not praise him. I do not care - do not be disappointed in these cameras.
If you want easy to use and as simple but good camera, then I recommend any of the WB series - I've

WB1000. This is a small optical zoom only 5x

With a big 24X optical zoom this can be:

Now I got and I use the NX10 is a camera with interchangeable optics. It is an advanced camera with interchangeable optics. The camera, despite its sophistication is very easy to use. It is compact and does not weigh much. With 30mm lens You can put it in bigger pocket or ladies handbag.
drawback may be the price is more expensive than those listed above, but it is a product of the future.

Here my works taken with NX

Default Olympus 420

I just bought an Olympus 420 DLSR camera. Is this a good choice or should I return it?
