Default Hot Air Balloon Ride

Hi,

I've got a lovely hot air balloon ride coming up this weekend and we should have some great weather. Does anyone have any advice for getting some cool shots? Long lens for far off landscapes? Wider lens to get the details of the basket and balloon? Best ways to get loved ones in the shot but still show off the scenery? Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!

I'd bring both wide and long. The middle of the range probably isn't going to be super useful. You're going to need the wide angle to get the people in the basket and the landscape.

As an aside, be sure to keep everything securely attached to your body.

Take a circular polarizer as well.
