Flavio, I love your edit! Thanks so much, I didn't even think of losing the top of the building.

Denja, I do like yours, but I really wanted to keep the clouds in there.

I like your composition because of the energy. I'm not sure you "broke" the rule of thirds. The corner of the building is about on the top third that is were my eye goes and then out to the clouds. I like what Flavio did eliminating the distraction at the top of the building. Good shot.

Great picture! Leave the building angled a bit (interesting perspective). Shave just a little bit off the right side to emphasis the building more.

The rule of thirds may not be the over riding consideration here. Might I suggest you think in terms of positive and negative space. A concept often neglected in photographic composition. (framing is also part of + & - space)
