I'm wondering which one of these is the more effective shot in regards to composition only.
I took a shot with more sky in it as I liked the change in the sky colour and wanted the wheel lines in the wheat to draw into the sky. Then later at home I cropped another photo the other way and left just a little sky in it. I have heard a little about the one third rule so I took it with the sky in mind as a main feature but after cropping changed my mind about the sky. Now I'm just getting slightly confused. haha Cheers Gary |

I find there is much more interest in the second image , its one impressive field and the little touch of sky adds a bit of interest and colour . Hope this helps .
