Default Hidden sunrise

Was shooting some pictures of the sunrise over the river and when I turned around the trees in the background were just glowing. Couldn't pass it up.

OK. I used Flickr to download this. How come I am just getting the thrumbnail here instead of the whole photo like the rest of you??

For posting pics from flickr, you have to select the all sizes link (above your photograph in flickr) and then medium size.

I love the light on the trees, but wonder why you have so much foreground in the shot which has left the trees missing their 'heads'. Did you have any taken from different angles?

Default How to get the right size from Flickr

That is the process I used to get this and one other picture here. I select the medium size, then cut and paste the URL into the thread link here. All I'm getting is the thumbnail size here and have to click on it to display the full size image.

Any other ideas on what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.

do not cut and paste URL but instead after choosing medium image asize go down under it and copy the HTML code in the box below it. That will show the imageand allow members to click the image here and be redirected to your stream on flickr.

To imbed a picture from Flickr, go to the picture you want to use from Flickr and click on "All Sizes" (above your picture). Select the Medium size and then look below the picture for the #2 box that says "Grab the photo's URL:". Highlight and select it. Right click on your selection and hit Cut (or Copy). Now go back to the DPS post you want to imbed the image in. Click on the yellow icon above the message box (the one that looks like a mini-landscape). In the box that pops up, paste the URL in box (make sure you only have 1 "http://" in the URL line before you hit the Ok button). Hit the Ok button. Click on the "Preview Post" button to see if your picture is imbedded in the post.
