I love that idea! The way the image is so sharp, yet the frame is blurry is quite surreal and your composition of the birds is pleasing, I can believe it took a while for them to all get in position! I agree there is something not quite right though, and I wonder if the rather boring background is the problem. I assume a really interesting background would be a distraction too, but I think it might be better if all the background was blurry out of focus. The muddy grass is not quite in focus, but it is sharp enough to be a distraction. Maybe just cropping most of it off at the top would help, or pp to change it for something else or extend the stone? Otherwise, just something to bear in mind for next time?

I love the idea of the background being blurred. I also think that I should bend take the pic at level of the mirror.

Nice Capture. Do some PP works for the background.
Take a shot of water and put it in the background and project the your mirror shot over the background.

Try both the backgrounds and mirror shots in Landscape.

nice idea!!
The only thing I would try is to take two shots one focusing on the image in the mirror and one on the frame of the mirror itself then merge the two so its all in focus....
might look more like a photo in a frame that way.

I might have to try this. Thanks for the idea!
