Creative idea! I think if you tried shooting the bills laying at an angle, or propped at an angle it might add something... not sure, but maybe worth a shot. Great sharpness and awesome folding skills!

mig2982,
Here are many things to ask about in Critique: A Very Basic Guide to Critiquing Images And yes, if I'd seen it yesterday, I'd have moved your thread then. Here, members can comment further on composition.

Great idea Newyorican. I think Im gonna have to go down to the bank and get some fresh coins and bills. Do any of you guys know how to get that pitch black look people get as a background in photos. Is it always just a sheet of velvet draped back and up? Would a piece of black cardboard work if i used it as a base and then arced it up to form a back ground or would it catch too much light?

I was thinkin of doing two rolls (and putting a $100 on the outside of each roll for better effect) and laying one on top of the other with some shiny new coins scattered around them.
Thanks to everyone for the great tips. MIG |

Yeah alot of these suggestions are great... having your subject front and center works sometimes, but in this case I am not feeling it. I'd like to see what else you have done to improve this!!
