Default Lonely Acorn

I took this shot today whilst out with my girls.

I really like this picture but i dont know why, the subjects bang on in the centre of the shot, tonnes of bokeh to the right and sharp to the left. By rights its a teribly composed picture.

Do i like it because its mine or is it actually a half decent shot?

Knocked up the contrast a touch as i often do.

Thanks for looking and any advice on crops.

Either it's a really small acorn, or . . .
Can't see the pic, mate

I know the problem!!! The acorn's in the UK still.. and since I'm in the US and you're in Japan, it's too small for us to see!

Just kidding, danny

Sometimes rules are meant to be broken. The trick is to know the rules and then break them. That photo would make a nice Holiday Card. I can just see "Seasons Greetings" written in the corner - in cursive...;D I LIKE it!

Great idea, maybe i will introduce a red bow to the pic with seasons greetings and then print them as xmas cards!

Do you see why im not quite sure, it seems to ahve too much of everything and the pine cone right in the middle, doesnt feel right. Maybe the bow will fix it!
