Default Taking Photos of Bats at Dusk

Hi Guys..

Looking for tips on hoe to take photos of small and very fast bats.
Loads of them fly about just at dusk. Any help will be great

I would assume that if you can find some way of luring them to a place to eat, that they will land and eat, and that if you just stage yourself at that location, you can wait for them to eventually come. I know this works with birds. I'm just not sure how to lure a bat.

Bats don't land to eat. They eat insects out of the air. I remember when I was a kid my brother getting a kick out of throwing ice cubes up in the air and attracting bats that way. You could probably use just about anything. Remember, bats use echo location to find their food. So, anything small "flying" around will get their attention. We have bats fly by our outdoor lights because that is where the bugs congregate.
