Default Image Detailed Continued

Well folks i come bearing images of my infamous cat Veda, captured in natural light, beaming through my kitchen window.I shot them all with my Nikon D80 with the Nikkor 70-300mm 1:4-5.6G lens, attached. The camera settings i used were, f/7.1 @ 1/320secs, ISO 1250. with my 70- 300MM lens @ 135MM. Now i did get a chance to pull them up in PhotoshopCS3, convert them into Jpeg files from RAW, plus tweak them a bit ( cropped, selective sharpened, got rid of color contrast to a certain degree ) where the histogram did appear better looking. So check them out, and let me what you think. I do feel a little better about my images now. I only posted three, will post more later. Thanks a bunch!!!

You have a very patient (and photogenic) cat - mine is a small bundle of uncontrollable energy.

Nice cat-portraits.

Wow!! Your cat actually poses! Mine, all 3, pose away-until I have a camera in my hands. Then they roll over or scratch an itch!
Great photos!!!

Like the others, I am envious that your cat is so willing to pose. Mine runs for cover whenever he sees me getting the camera out. I do see a few spots that are blown, but otherwise the highlighting effects are very lovely, especially considering how difficult it is to photograph a black cat (my cat is also all black).

Is that a notched ear I see? Was your kitty a feral at one time?
