Is it safe to hand a 3 year old a digital SLR? I'm planning on upgrading my wife's point & shoot for her birthday. When we do, the kids will get to use the old camera for taking pictures. It'll be interesting to see what they take.

She's at that stage where she wants us to look at EVERYTHING she does! She wanted us to watch her stretch the other morning.

The golden hour, huh? To catch the sun behind my back from that side of the bridge, that would require being out there pretty early in the morning. I suppose I could try that this Saturday if the sun is shining like it has been. I'll make a trip just for the bridge.

I appreciate all the advice and the compliments. This is fun.... Now to figure out how to get sharper images.

I was finally able to get back to take some better shots of the bridge. The sun was shining when I left, but when I got there, it had gone back to hiding behind the clouds. I was only able to get one shot with the sun shining.... It was the last shot before I had to go.
