Either could work but, without any context, definitely the second one. Blurring the cassette makes it less clear what the heart is formed from.

That is such a cute picture! I'm weird, I like the first one because then the heart really jumps out at me.

I find side by side comparisons difficult. It seems people will tend choose the more focused capture, even when it may not be the best.

But either way....

the second one is better in my opinion.

I like both, but I guess I think I like the second one better. If there was slightly more DOF on the first, that might help.
