Hey Everyone,
I did a blog post recently with some great composition guidelines and tips. I think its a good read for those interested in framing captivating compositions in almost any field. Tell me what you think. I am also interested to hear what other basic compositional tips you guys use and I missed. I think you covered the basics well. The only other thing I can think of is to not always compose your images from eye level. Kneel, squat, get down on the ground or move to an elevated position to get a different perspective on your subject. I even read about one guy who attaches his camera to a balloon to get an aerial perspective. I don't know how he triggers the shutter, though!

I'm not sure if this is the guy I saw online earlier, but I found this guy who uses a kite to suspend his camera for some unique shots:
KAP Summary Table of Contents Here's a close up of his rig. I was surprised he is using a P&S. Maybe a DSLR is too heavy: Events filled with DIY projects, science, demos, recycling, entertainment, and fun - there's a link to a Flickr group here also.

What lovely photos! I'm still wishing I could take photos like those. My flickr photos are very mediocre in comparison but I look at yours for inspiration!
Thanks!
