one can find inspiration anywhere... and this sort of experience is inspiration calling out to you. i was just reading the "you know you're a photographer when..." thread and it's true - you see these kind of occurences all around. i just got out of the cinema watching iron man (robert downey jr. was perfect for the part, btw) and i was splicing the movie into cinematography, and general lighting, and effects, and so on. once you see the world through a pentaprism, things look a a whole lot different ^_^

I'm doing a couple weddings next month also, and this is a great idea. All of the previous weddings I have done were with film and I don't really want to dig up old negatives to have samples of poses. I'm off to walmart to pick up a couple magazines to make a pose album.

By the way, I found this site through one of the post here on dps. There is some stunning wedding photography on it. thought you might check it out.

Thanx for the discussion and posting a few links. I think this is a subject that I'm going to do some research on, just because even though the thought of dealing with wedding photography (a big responsibility) scares me, I know that the mere fact that I now have a new camera and other people know it, I will be "volunteered" soon and so I will have to learn some tips and a few of the gotchas so I'll be prepared.

Default volenteered?

Ask the ones for a little money to shoot their wedding. Who knows? You might get a side job started!
