EXIF data is embedded in the image. You can access it with software that came with your camera or any number of photo editing software packages. All we really need is your shutter speed, aperture setting, ISO, and lens. That should be enough.
Which part of the image do you consider the problem?

Your photos look like they were posted on flickr. Click either your camera's name (on the flickr page) or "more properties", and you should get a huge list of data. Aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and focal length are the most important ones for now.
I think I see a blur or streak across your dog's face... is that the issue?

I liked it better when it was a direct link from the photo page. Here's the EXIF for the shot: Camera Nikon D3000 Exposure 0.125 sec (1/8) Aperture f/5.0 Focal Length 36 mm ISO Speed 100 Exposure Bias 0 EV Flash On, Return detected Exposure Program Shutter speed priority AE Basically, you didn't have enough light. The blur is happening because your shutter speed set so low. You're not seeing much camera shake blur, because of the flash burst. You had plenty of room with the iso to increase (try going up to iso 800). Using an iso that's 8x higher means you can use a shutter speed that's 8x faster (1/64s). Opening up the aperture to something like f/2.8 would let you go 4x faster (~1/250s) and that will help freeze the action.

Increasing the ISO lets you get a faster shutter speed, yes. Also, a wider aperture (f/3.5, for example, instead of f/5) will let in more light -- which means a faster shutter speed. Look up "exposure triangle" -- it should be on the front page of DPS right now, in fact -- and read up on that a bit. Then try putting the camera into "S" mode (Shutter Priority) and take the same photo in bright daylight, several times, with different shutter speeds. Look at the aperture and ISO in each photo, and notice what happens. Also notice whether you get blur or not. It's good practice.

Oh weird! Another strange Chrome/Flickr bug. The camera name and date links don't display as links unless I mouseover the text. Cool! I'm much happier with the new Flickr interface now. Thanks!
