It all an illusion, this whole thing has been photoshopped to death. Look at the fellow in the front right corner. He is very softly lit with most of the light coming from above. The fellow standing over him is lit from the sides and his upturned face is nearly in shadow. As a matter of fact nearly everyone in this image is lit differently, which tells me that each person was shot separately and then photoshopped into the background. And a bit of a hack job at that; most pros at least know to match the lighting when assembling a scenario like this.

Good gravy yes. If the lighting isn't enough, a dead giveaway is the fact that none of the models are interacting in any way. It looks unnatural. As do that guy's checkered pants.

It is a composite. Each person was photographed separately and placed in the image.

My best guess is that it was manipulated, and as said above, the giveaway there is that the lighting is a tad bit off, and the models aren't interacting with one another.

Definitely Photoshopped. The lighting is off. Most commercial magazines edit photos rather heavily...

Would also appear the chap in the checked pants has 2 right feet... (surely modelling pays enough to be able to afford a full pair of shoes!) ... and his second right foot also casts no shadow.
