Default Nikon d3000

hiya gang

just a quick question and that is how do i change the shutter speed on my D3000 in any mode except auto becuase the manual dosent show me thanks in advance

I'm not trying to be rude, but go read your manual again, it definitely does tell you! In S and M mode you rotate the dial to change shutter speed. In A mode, the shutter speed will change as you adjust the aperture value with the dial.

I just got the D3000 for Christmas and I purchased the book "Nikon D3000 for Dummies" by Julie Adair King....it is SO helpful. It breaks your camera down with easy instructions and also explains how to use each setting effectively. The book has taught me so much about my camera in such a short amount of time!
