Default Group posing tips

Hi all,

I've got a family shoot on Sunday - 7 adults. Does anyone know of any good links that will help with me with posing suggestions?

We are at the beach and also in a park. They want funky, fun stuff. I'm thinking of taking a bag of props and just letting them pick them up - i.e footballs, frisbees, cricket, etc and going from there, but I'm not sure.

I don't want to have them just sitting around, or standing up - I want more informal posing. If that makes sense!!

If they are willing you could have them do a pyramid. Or have them all lay in the grass in a circle with their heads next to each other getting the shot from above.

Thanks for your reply. I've got those two already written down!! Thanks heaps tho - I'll just have to have a look around at different sites and get into my creative mode.

Thanks again!

If you're looking for something more fun and creative, one idea I've seen done is to have them all jumping into the air all at the same time. Here's a cute example (just searched for "family jump" on flickr, tons came up, just picked this one at random).

60/365 (the whole jumping clan) on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
