I have blogged it and I thought I'd post it here because I think it's a great competition... The Kata "Dream Bag Challenge"

Basically, you design your dream bag - you submit your design, if it wins Kata make it for you, Stick a Canon 5DMk2 with a couple of Lenses and some other stuff in it and send it to you... HOW cool would that be for Christmas? (Errr, Very!)

Get thinking, oh fine members of dPS and thank me when you win!!... :-)

i dont have a clue on how to actually present the design other than a sketch..

....wicked competition tho' ...geez

i could create a 3D AutoCAD Model... ....hmmmmmmmmmm...

Dang! I have a great design (IMO) I know they would (should) be interested in. But if it doesn't "win" they will own it and could produce it with no requirement to pay me anything....

That kind-of sucks.

I contacted Kata with my concern and this was their reply.

"As to your question- Kata are a fair and honest company and the winners
of the contest will be receiving high value and very
rewarding prizes for their great ideas.
Should we wish to use designs (not ideas) that did not reach the top 3
we will be in touch with the designer
and rest assure that we will not leave him/her empty handed and
disappointed."

Not bad.
