Wink The Real Test of ioSafe Disaster Proof Storage

A skydiving airplane hovers over a forest fire, with jumpers arguing who jumps first. They decide the ioSafe goes first, and throw the ioSafe though the open door straight to the edge of the forest fire. The automatic parachute opens and it lands safely (pun intended) amidst the flames and smoke. Firefighters rush to the scene, dowse the flames. They pick up the ioSafe, drive it back to headquarters and plug it in. They view the enclosed images, e-mail the sender saying next time it would be easier if he had simply dropped off the data personally.

You may never do this to your ioSafe, but you'll be thankful that it can withstand this test.

Default Fire/water test failed

As we know it is waterproof as well, we just have to put the gadget beside Eva Mendes's lowest third when she is in the bath - guaranteed hottest spot on Earth yet watery enough to do the test.

Oops, sorry, I've just made the test above and the ioSafe Solo 500gb external drive just dissolved without trace - so you guys will have to work a bit more to make it more sophisticated...

Default Fireproof

I think you should give it to my group of firefighters and let them determine if it is fireproof. They can break anything just by looking at it!!!!!

How to test it's fireproof? At first it should be affordable. So go to the mall and buy some hairspray, light it up and there you got ur cheap flamethrower. If that's doing nothing just blow ur hairspray up. But becarefull for flying pieces!
How to test it's waterproof? Put it in you're washing machine, you may destroy ur washing machine but then you'll know if it's waterproof or not .

Default Testing the ioSafe

I've got a "sure-fire" (get it?) way to test the abilities of the ioSafe on both it's liquid and extreme heat protection.

Send it to Scotland, tell the locals that it is in fact a Mars Bar, and within seconds they'll be deep-frying it.

If it comes out alive, you'll know it can withstand being submerged, cooked at thermo-nuclear temperatures, and is inedible when coated in a crispy batter.
