Probably not. I love the idea and am all for entering a contest but few things:

1) Odds are I'd lose being as I've only been taking photos for less than a year and only since Sept with serious studying and learning techniques. I'd probably not win against people who've been doing this a lot longer and know how to post process.

2) I'm new to the site and lose if it came down to popularity.

I think the problem is that most people read the first post and then skip to the last page and skim a bit and then post. you can really miss out on a bunch doing that...
