I have been entering this competition since 2007. Never any luck of course, but last year ssome of my pictures came quite hgh in the 'highest rated.' As I said, I did not get any further, but then you never know. Every year I get a little better (or at least I think/hope so) and every year I think that at least one of my shots is good enough to get at least shortlisted.

I like both your entries Jon and gave them a 'Thumbs up' (IE a Vote) and a comment. I haven't been very active in the competition this year as in previous years, but the trick to get noticed by other entrants, and to gain comments and votes, is to comment on the entries.

Not everyone, but a fair number of them, will have a look at your shots and comment/vote in return.

I just saw this thread and it seems the contest is over. I just wanted to comment on the photo of the 2 little girls HA HA HA

That is a well deserved winner! I laughed for a good 30 seconds over it. One of the best sibling photos I have ever seen!

Those were amazing photographs.I too would like to participate this time .U are right no harm in trying at least I will get I will learn lot from experienced photographers there.
