The noise resulting from your extremely high ISO is give the image an artifact kind of look, which is probably attributing the the unfocused look your talking about. Judging by your other setting, your set was probably not lit sufficiently for something like this.
Increase the amount of light in the room and you should get some better results. Also, the drape in the background is not doing the shot any justice. Try creating an infinity cove with it, or better yet, look into purchasing a large sheet of white Plexiglas and use that as a backdrop. It will give you a nice reflection, and add more light into the glass.

The light I know is bad, for now I didn't have what else to do, as the room where I've shoot had a very poor light, that's why I had to increase so much the ISO so I could have the shutter speed higher.
I should try the cove as you say, that drape was there just to mask the other things in the room which would distract the eye even blurry. Thanks for the reply, I will keep trying the trick till it would get better ![]() regards Ivian |

The best way to freeze this kind of shot is using off-camera flash. There are some tricks to how to set the flash so it doesn't blow out the shot and you probably want to bounce it off something. Nice splash, keep trying different things. These shots take a lot of experimentation, but can be fun. There are some guides here and on the 'net that might help.
