Default Same subject - Two different takes

Intially I was attracted to this subject by the ornate metal fencing and the lamb atop the headstone. In one photo I tried to emphasize the lamb by shooting from a low angle in the other I was trying to soften the look of the headstone in post processing from the harshness of the wrought iron. Do either work?

I like them both but I prefer the second (lamb shot).

i like number two as well, the inscription on the headstone adds to the power of the image.

What an interesting find. Both shots work, but my favourite is the second.
