Default Light vs. Dark

I've been playing around with Photoshop a lot, but can sometimes overdo it. I really like the feel to the second picture, but do you think I went to far? Should I just leave the original as is?

I really like the second picture- I don't think you overdid it really. One thing i would say is use the same crop on the first picture.

Default good effort

Yeah, it's overdone. There are halos and you lose all the detail in the trees and rock. It is fun to play, though...maybe back it off a bit or mask some detail back in?

i like the water and sky in the second one but it seems a bit to much..but then again the original looks a bit washed out or overexposed...

I like the crop of the second one, but it looks too dark for me.
