Default Nasturtium in pieces

Hi I took this shot of the nasturtium in my garden a week ago, I loved the texture in the leaves but felt the image on it's own didn't quite work. So rather than give up I've tried to break out the detail of the flower in a triptych style. Question is which one do you prefer one or two, or do you think niether of them work?

Nasturtium in pieces two:

I would say nr 2,In nr 1 the third picture to the right the greenery leads one eye away from the flower.

Thanks for that, it was kind of what I was thinking but being near to this type of shot deconstruction reassurance is always helpful.

Thanks.

Number 2 flows better. In 1 it looks as if the flower on the right blends with the one in the middle. So, I prefer 2.

Also number two. Feels like the first image in #2 is the main image, determining and defining the other two, and because of that, having it in the middle doesn't work.
