It depends on what's the priority! But for me, the 2nd drags my attention than the 1st!

Sounds like this belongs in "Comparison Critique" (moved).

FWIW, I much prefer the first. The sculpture of the woman is nearer, larger (filling almost half the frame) and better lit. Trying to draw attention past her by changing the point of focus doesn't work for me. If the lighting was better on the figure in the rear, that would potentially change things.
