Exclamation Black & White or Color???

I took this shot messing around a rose bush in my front yard. I like the black and white added to it because I think it just looks neat and different but I am not sure it works with this shot. Let me know what you guys think.

To really get the effect of the selective colouring I would make even more of it black and white and leave one or two flowers in colour. At first i thought there was a mistake and both were colour. Even if you leave all the flowers in colour I would make the greenery in the bottom right black and white.

This is one of the most misused effects. It looks best when the image is black and white with just a single splash of color. For example, a red lapel rose in black tuxedo.

Of the two shots I prefer the BW but I would prefer to see only the flowers colored. There are also artificats of your PP around the flowers.
