Default Family portrait - Dad and Daughter

Hi all,
This was part of a photo session that I did for my friends. This shot turned out to be one of my favorites in terms of their expressions, but I was surprised that the parents did not select it as one of the best takes. I changed it to split toning and added some vignetting..

Here are the links to the orignal and the post portrait.. Does it look more effective in the post way? and any overall feedback on this as a portrait?

I love the expressions too! I think the background is a little distracting though.

The background is very, very slightly distracting, but you've filled enough of the frame with them to where it isn't really a problem (good job on that, btw). I like the post processed shot a lot more than the original, you created very good tonality and contrast in it - excellent work. Fantastic expressions too.
