Default Which Crop?

Hi everyone. I took this picture a couple of weeks ago at LSU and just got around to editing yesterday. I know there's some noise and I've decided I can iive with that. What's killing me though is the crop. One has more grass at the bottom than the other and I'm not sure if it adds or detracts from Mike, the Tiger. Thanks for your help!

Thank you Elmo. That's the same reason I liked it but I've learned that what I like isn't always the "right" thing.

I like the second one. To me the grass almost looks like it was an accident and it keeps pulling my eye down to it. The second one appears cleaner.

I can't tell you which is right - but I prefer the bottom one. Is the blue on the right a reflection of a glass partition?

Lisa, yep! You can see the reflection of the partition. I'm playing with a new crop now that makes that less obvious and takes the poles out of the right side of the picture.

Thanks,

Wendy

The Second one without grass i can see it better as the grass are too blurry and distracting!

Upon first glance, I liked the one without the grass better. But the more I look at it, the more I like the grass. It does add depth as pp said, and I like the little extra bit of color.

I agree on the second pic. More focus on the tiger. The first one distracts too much.
