Default portait for a book

wich have better light and exposure ?

i'm not sure abaut the white... in the first i think that is a little overexposed. in the second the white looks a little blue...isn't?

and the light in the face? better in the first or on the second?

something between boths ?

and the composition of the photo ?
it is well ? the original photo is large, i cropped to give atention to the fave... shoul i crop this diffrently?

and other question an please be honest...
in your opinion any of this photo have quality to be including in a book
i need doing a book with some photos that i take to see if i can get a job like assistent in any litlle studio.

The whites are blown out in the 2nd one.

What I would do if it were me is:

Open the first one in PS and do a new layer adjustment( levels, curves or something to lightenen it up) then I would take a black brush and brush over the white jacket. It should take the adjustment off of the white jacket.

Mind if I give it a try?

Yes. I would also pull some of the red out of her skin tones.

But it is a big improvement.

Here is what I came up with the edit.

I just played with the color balance. It was kinda hard with such a small image, but this is close As I could get.
