Default Coney Island Boardwalk

Recently I visited NYC with camera in hand. Here is a shot I took while checking out Coney Island! I did a Gaussian Blur then faded it with a darken effect in PS to give it a sort of cell shaded look, also let me know if the vignetting looks better than the original. Let me know what you guys think Feel free to cut me up with negative feedback I want to know where I can improve my technique!

Camera: Canon EOS 50D
Lens: EF70-200mm f/4L IS
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1600)
Aperture: f/4.0
Focal Length: 111 mm
Exposure: 0.00
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off

I think the first one has truer blacks, but that just might be my computer screen. Also the vignette looks a little too much. I like the idea of a vignette, but I think you could pull it back just a little so it isn't as obvious that it was edited.

I really like the picture though and I'm looking forward to future edits.

I think I like the first one better, but wow! Really great shot. Nice contrasts. Got any more from this trip?

The vignetting is a little too prevalent in the second. Tone it down a bit imo. Nice shot nonetheless!

Too much vignette for me in the second one. Did you try a curves adjustment?

I think the vignette draws the eye into the photo...

Indeed, the focus is a bit more on the perspective of the wooden planks and barrels. Although I halfheartedly agree that it may look better with a lighter appearance.
