Default Which one?

BEFORE

AFTER

IMG_1714

Okay everyone....I am having trouble deciding which picture is better. I feel that the first one is a little too red and the PP is a little too white or bright.

Sorry....in the second image I used Threshold Adjustment to find the dark and the white points and then used the curve adjustment layer to set the blacks to (Red=10 Green=10 Blue=10) white points to (RGB=245)

The first picture was left as shot!

Not knowing anything... I like the first one better. The second looks a little to "hot" for me.

I think the first. Perhaps you should tell us what you did to get the second image, then someone with more knowledge than me could make suggestions.

I think the color in the "Before" image is more true to life. The other looks like it was processed improperly to me.

Definitely the first one may I suggest just lightening the eyes... new layer white paint in eye then soft blend and reduce opacity t suit ... just to give them a touch more pow but definitely the first image as a whole

I prefer the color of the shirt in the second image -- the first one seems to have a yellow cast that seems a bit much. In the second one, the shirt is perhaps shifted just a shade too far towards blue, but it still looks better to my eye. As for the face, I much prefer the first image for its more accurate representation of the skin tones. The second one simply has too much of the color washed out on the forehead and chin. In addition to FoG's suggestion above for fixing the eyes, you should be able to create a mask of the shirt and a bit of the pink above her hand and reduce the yellow. That will also change the hair on the lower right side, but that to me also looks better in the second image, and so could benefit from the tonal shift.

The first picture for me , just seems to be more striking. Beautiful child , her eyes for me stand out more in the first picture too.
