shots were one right after the other with no change in settings etc. why two different results? 01 seems brighter (less shadow) than 3000. Absolutely no clouds in the sky on this day.

That's strange. What happens when you set it to manual exposure, manual (sunny) white balance?

It must be a discolouration due to the different positions on my monitor, as they indeed look the same when placed at the same spot.
