Default Street Kid portrait

Hi guys, I took this picture while I was in a gas station. Saw this kid wandering around and I being a shutterbug, asked if I could take her picture. I gave her some money for her posing for me. Anyway, I would like to ask opinions on my final image. My concerns would be:

1. is the crop alright?
2. BW or colored?
3. did I post processed it right?

Please, feel free to give me the "no holds barred" opinions.

Cheers!

Migs Sanchez

B&W looks better
Crop is too tight, head is copped off

I think you've got a beautiful, beautiful picture, as someone already said it is meant to be a BW. There's one thing I would have done differently and that is keeping the top of her head. But other than that I love it!

I agree with the rest, definitely B&W and the top of her head should not be cropped.

Definitely B&W! Gives a greater sense of the poverty if you ask me.
