I played around with this idea again while I had some free time between studying. In the limited time that I had I couldn't do the multiplicity nor could I figure out with my available lights how to make a stream of light. I just might not have had the patience though. I did set up the tripod though so that I could get a greater DOF and change the lights. Humorously I think that I hit a small arteriole when I punctured myself because when I was squeezing the blood out of my finger it would every once in a while shoot out in a stream. It just might have been from hydrostatic pressure though. That is actually how the blood got onto the left side of the sink. I did try to take some with bloody finger prints on the razors handle in an attempt to make it look more like I would imagine it would be after a homicide, I just didn't think that there was enough blood for it to look believable. All in all this is what I came up with.

Similar to the 2nd of the first 2 with greater DOF
Bloody Razor VI
Darker with great DOF with grit and a little grime in the sink
Bloody Razor V

Let me know what you think. Would the homicide like idea work. Should these pictures be brighter, darker, cropped, or anything that you can think of.

Hmmm I thought that I might get some more constructive criticism on the second set of pictures, but alas I have gotten nothing. Just looking for some feedback. Thanks in advance.

The second set is quite dark, I know thats the look your going for but in terms of light I think it needs more!

If you want to perfect these photos can I suggest you use fake blood!!? http://halloween.newarchaeology.com/...od_recipes.php
I know some people put blood and sweat into their photography but this is taking it a bit far!! ^^

I thought of using fake blood at first then I thought about the amount of effort it would take to avoid a little wound that diabetics inflict on themselves every day to test their blood sugar. It didn't hurt and it is very "realistic" looking. It might be that I prefer to be lazy with a little hint of pain, than to be without pain and do some work. Haha.
I can see increasing the light especially on the second picture. I might brighten it up and repost it. Thanks for the critique.

Xhan I had some time so I brightened the two pictures. Here they are:

Bloody Razor V Bright

Bloody Razor VI Bright

I prefer the very first one, a touch more focus and it would be perfect

Thanks Shorty. I tried to do it again after I had the tripod set up so I could get more DOF but the pattern of blood on the blade just didn't look great for a close up.
