Which angle would you choose? (if any)

I am no expert and certainly am not basing my decision on any technical wealth of knowledge , that said I like #2 , i think that angle gives a little depth to the falls , and allows for more details in the rocks to the left of the water . All the best .

I like the second one too but I wish you had been able to get that branch/trunk out of the way

Thanks bradzo66 & Nathan. Nathan I moved a lot of branches to clean up the shot, but the tree trunk was just to much for me.

I like the 2nd one also, I like the way more of the falls fill the frame.

regards
mike

First, I like the colors better in that one and also the 2nd one looks weird with that tree sticking up front lol

It seems like the angle change made the colors change, too...

I like the second one since the waterfall's looking us head-on. Plus, it's parallel to the frame on the left side. The first one's nice for leading our eyes to the left toward the end of the fall, but I'm just going to have to go with the second one composition-wise. Though I do love the first one's color better.

Nice shot!

I actually prefer the angle in the first one. Dead-on angles like the second one just don't seem work as often. They are both great but my pick is the first.

the 1st one is better, i agree the head on shot is too much. Yes, the 2nd one is good, but the 1st one is better
