Talking Desire

I have these two pictures and i know that the second picture is too dark but i can't decide wich one looks better... near or far ..... and if you have any comments beyond that i would appreciate it very much.

The closer version is more engaging, and you're using the frame better. There's no reason to show that much pink/yellow in the wider one, you're losing the whole bottom half of the frame.

The first one!

It captures more of the presumed subject. I'm much more interested in his face than the fabrics.

Though I do wonder what it would look like with a depth of field covering the fabric materials...
