Desire
I have these two pictures and i know that the second picture is too dark but i can't decide wich one looks better... near or far ..... and if you have any comments beyond that i would appreciate it very much.
Canon EOS Digitla Rebel XS 1st picture TV 1/5 SEG AV 5.6 F ISO 1600 2nd picture TV 1/10 seg AV 5.0 f ISO 1600

The closer version is more engaging, and you're using the frame better. There's no reason to show that much pink/yellow in the wider one, you're losing the whole bottom half of the frame.

near photo is better.

The first one!
It captures more of the presumed subject. I'm much more interested in his face than the fabrics.  Though I do wonder what it would look like with a depth of field covering the fabric materials...
